Meet Our President/Owner
Cindi Mason
Cynthia (Cindi) Mason is a second-generation restorer. Her father founded United Restoration in 1978. After working for her father for many years, Ms. Mason took over as owner and president in 2004 and has been running the company ever since. She has been featured in Restoration and Remediation Magazine as part of a series on women in restoration. She is a Certified Restorer, is licensed in NY State for Mold Remediation and Lead Abatement, and holds certificates in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying and as a Mold Remediation Specialist.
Cindi has worked on restoration projects for The Guggenheim Museum, Barbara Streisand, Goya Foods, many large NY City property managers, small businesses, historic homes, and everything in between. Her strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and vast restoration experience along with her straightforward, honest communication is part of what has allowed United Restoration to maintain the same, loyal client base for decades.
In her off time, Cindi enjoys live music, walking, reading, cooking healthy meals, and getting together with family and friends. She is a graduate of New York University in Manhattan where she studied English literature. Cindi has lived in Westchester County, NY most her life and lives with her husband of 30 years, Andrew, and they have two beautiful grown children, Max and Jessi, both of whom now live on their own.
Meet Our Office Manager
Ian Rutty
Ian has been with United Restoration Services, inc. since 2018. He is responsible for a lot of the behind-the-scenes day to day operations that keep United running smoothly, which include providing support for Project Managers and crews. He plays a key role in the continued development of strategic customer relationships and provides exceptional customer service in an increasingly demanding marketplace. He is also IICRC certified.
Ian grew up in the Bronx, NY and decided to head south for higher learning after High School. He graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media. Prior to joining United Restoration Services, Ian has held a management role for much of his time after college. Some of his past responsibilities including store and staff management, leadership, hiring, purchasing, and operations, to name a few. In addition to his professional qualifications and accomplishments, Ian has personal qualities that make him well suited for his role at United Restoration Services. He’s naturally committed to quality, growth, and progress.
Ian is married and has 2 teenagers (boy & girl) that he loves spending time with. He now resides in Westchester County, NY and spends a lot of his time outside of work taking family trips and attending his children’s sporting activities. He also enjoys music and motorcycling when the weather permits. He has one of the best personalities – he’s fun loving and a friendly individual who always treat everyone in an amicable and welcoming manner.

Andrew Mason
Andrew Mason has been working in the restoration business for 25 years. So long, in fact, that many of his former teachers and mentors are now the ‘famous’ people in the restoration industry. He is a Certified Restorer and has numerous other trainings and certifications for water damage, fire damage and mold remediation. He has managed restoration projects from 2 thousand to 2 million dollars and has seen just about everything possible when it comes to water, fire, smoke, or mold damage. He works mainly in the NY Tri-State area but has done catastrophe recovery work as far as Texas and Louisiana.
When Andrew is not helping people recover from a disaster, he enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, music, food and great times with friends and family. He has served as a volunteer firefighter and as member of the fire police squad in his local community. Andrew is a commercial pilot, certified SCUBA diver, licensed NYS carpenter and a pretty good joke teller. He grew up in Dobbs Ferry, NY and now resides 14 miles north in Briarcliff Manor, NY with his lovely wife of 30 years. Of his two amazing children, his son lives in New York City and his daughter lives in Los Angeles.

Andrew Fodor
Andrew brings over 20 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, and Real Estate. He studied Speech Communications at The State University of Oneonta and received his Bachelor of Science in Communications in 2001. Andrew brings a wide variety of attributes and expertise in creating win-win situations to grow the company, along with enabling the growth of our partners that refer us their customers when they need our services. He has achieved several restoration industry honors including completion of the More Floods Elite Marketing Program.
Andrew resides in North Salem, NY with his wife and 3 daughters. He enjoys spending time supporting his girls with their education and several other activities.

Jhon Dominguez
Jhon is a Colombian immigrant, and he comes from a working family, who moved to the United States in 2001. In Colombia, he was an electrical engineer, and speaks Spanish and English fluently. Jhon has been with United Restoration Services since 2017 and has more than 20 years of experience in the restoration industry, and he has managed jobs of all sizes and complexities. He has many certifications and trainings for water damage, mold remediation, lead abatement and fire damage, is IICRC Certified and has his NYS Mold License. Through his work he has helped many people when a disaster happens in their home or business with his experience and thoughtful advice.
Jhon lives in Hudson County New Jersey. He is married to Maricela and father of two, Daniel and Camila. He is a happy person, who enjoys time with his family. In his off time, Jhon enjoys cooking, listening to music and going to the movies.

Jesse Gelardi
Jesse is a long time Westchester native. He grew up in Briarcliff Manor, NY and graduated from Briarcliff High school. After high school, Jesse traveled out west and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Jesse comes from a family of builders and has 20+ years in the construction industry. Before joining the team here at United Restoration Services in 2022, Jesse gained experience working on a mixture of residential and commercial, private, and public construction projects. Everything from custom home building to the Ferry Pointe golf course in Bronx, New York. In his short time at United, he has gotten his IICRC Certification as well as his NYS Mold License.
During his off time, Jesse enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding, and wakeboarding, and absolutely adores his two nieces and two nephews.
