Pride Restoration of NC is a locally owned and operated full-service damage restoration company based in Wilmington, North Carolina. For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to helping our clients recover from unexpected disasters. Meet Our Owner
Jim Seubert
Jim Seubert and his wife, Susan, are the owners of Pride Restoration. Jim started the business in 1987 and continually works to keep the company up to date on new products and technologies. He works hard to ensure the safety of his employees and clients by utilizing green products whenever possible. Jim is IICRC Certified in Water, Fire, Mold, Odor Control, and Carpet Cleaning. Jim and Susan have nine grandchildren and enjoy creating lasting memories with them through exciting adventures. These adventures could involve swimming in the lake, playing volleyball in the pool, attending local musicals, or even recently, hugging a giraffe. Jim particularly loves the three “B”s: BBQ, boating, and basketball. As an Indiana Hoosier, born and bred, he is often seen proudly supporting his hometown team. The couple is also actively involved in supporting their community through their work with the Rotary Club and by hosting a Halloween experience at their home each year to raise funds for a local charity.
Meet Our Office Manager
Doris Lindly
Doris Lindly is our Office Manager. She was raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina and comes from a large military family, so she knows what it means to be of service to a community. Prior to finding her “calling” in the restoration industry, Doris worked as a Paralegal and Office Manager for a General Contractor. Then she found her calling in the restoration industry over 21 years ago and has not looked back since. She received her IICRC Water Technician Certification in 2009 and enjoys keeping up with the latest technology and trends in the ever changing restoration industry by going to industry conferences, webinars, and educational classes. When she is not working serving our community, Doris loves to travel, cooking, crafting, gardening and to read a good book on a beach somewhere.
Meet Our Team
Jim Stroud
Jim Stroud is a lifelong resident of the Carolina Coast. From an early age, Jim learned the value of hard work and always had a fascination with the concept of building. After attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington majoring in Finance, he excelled in the corporate world of both commercial and residential construction. Over the next thirty years, Jim gained multiple state licenses including that of General Contractor, Home Inspector, and beyond. Jim uses his many years of experience in construction and management to oversee all phases of construction activities with the goal of providing the highest level of service each client deserves.
Andy Benton
Mr. Benton being a native of the Cape Fear Region started working in Restoration at a young age with his family until he enlisted in the United States Navy. In the Navy he was a mechanical engineer working on main propulsion systems for ships. He served for four years. After his time in the service, he went to work for Hertz Equipment Rentals as a shop supervisor and inventory controller fulltime and worked nights and weekends for Advance Auto Parts as a part time Assistant Manager in training. After two years of part time with Advance Auto Mr. Benton became the youngest store Manager at Advance Auto Parts. During his ten-year tenure Mr. Benton became a District Manager and covered multiple stores. Mr. Benton wanted a change in his career and switched from Retail environment to Facility Services. Mr. Benton joined GCA Service Group in Pender County where he over saw custodial services for all of Pender County. During his employment with GCA he moved up the corporate ladder quickly and became a Senior Regional Manager. In his role as Senior Regional Manager, he covered the entire state of North Carolina and the lower half of Virginia. His responsibility included custodial services for over 15 million square feet of cleaning nightly, 300,000 acers of grounds maintenance and 8 million square feet of facility maintenance for k-12 school systems and colleges in his region. Mr. Benton was responsible for 635-hourly employees and 25 salaried employees. After a merger and acquisition of GCA from Mr. Benton comes to Pride Restoration with a vast experience in Management, construction and facility operation and Restoration. When Mr. Benton is not working, he is spending time with family and friends. He likes to ride motorcycles, fish, hunt, and work in his yard.
Joel Knopp
Joel Knopp is the North Carolina Rep which handles Marketing, Sales, and Client Relations. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and comes from a military family. Joel has grown his customer service and sales experience through various professional sales environments most of his life. Joel can be best seen through his ability to implement client service quality assurance. Always going above and beyond to develop relationships and building trust amongst the community with the resources Pride Restoration has to offer. He loves the challenge of learning another’s craft and connecting people through networking circles. The result is seeing others succeed in business also known as “Givers Gain” which gives Joel a true sense of accomplishment. In his free time he enjoys salt water fishing , kayaking, and the simpler things in life.
